Another Successful “Boots for Scholars” Event!

For the 8th year in a row, the Kosciusko Board of REALTORS® (KBOR) partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and hosted a “drive-thru” for 25 “Little’s” and their “Big’s” in the Boots for Scholars event.
On March 6, KBOR presented the children, and their adult partners involved in the Big Brothers Big Sister’s mentoring programs, each with a gift bag full of treats, a $40 Shoe Carnival Gift Card, and a $10 Gift Card to McAlisters.
“Having the Kosciusko Board of REALTORS sponsor Boots for Scholars is instrumental in supporting the success of our Littles in Kosciusko County,” said Jessica Shaw, Kosciusko Development Director for Big Brothers Big Sister of NEI. “As an agency, we have a mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. We want kids to focus on being kids and dream about a big future.”
